A Panoply Ceremony - Magnitude 6 - The Esteem
Performing the Ceremony
Performing this Ceremony takes at least 2 minutes of roleplaying. This Ceremony targets any number of characters who must be present throughout, but need not be one of the priests performing the Ceremony.
This Ceremony is a Curse, and therefore interacts with anything that would remove or affect Curses.
Note: For this specific Curse, there is no Prophet, as the targeted characters are Cursed the moment the Ceremony ends.
Effects
Any number of target characters are Cursed, and a contract that contains their signatures is magically preserved. If it is determined by either The Coinmaster or The Esteem that any of those individuals have broken the terms of the contract, or failed to faithfully uphold their obligations within it, the offending character/s are branded with a permanent painful mark that appears on their face.
The mark is permanent, until the Curse should be removed in some way.
The target characters can return to the Sanctified Square to annul the contract, provided they all consent, by performing this Ceremony again.
