Part of Winds of the World - Winter 221

The Zekartaal retain control of the Greenweald North of Resinderholz, however their direct assaults have lessened over the previous seasons. The forest grows quiet without the drums of war as the cultists of the wild cast their gaze elsewhere.
Zekartaal shamans and spellcallers marched on the ruined city of Halibatha in Villacres. Magi across the Concord report the after-effects of a powerful ceremony outside of Halibatha. This city was a favoured target of treasure hunters and sages of the Desert Realm. None have since returned from travels north of the Tribelands, it appears that the Zekartaal Wartribes are intent to stay in their new abode. But there grows concern that any boon for the Wartribes is a loss for the Concord.
Within the eaves of the Greenweald, the largest force of Zekartaal warriors flock to the brutal Sister Oak, warleader of the Zekartaal. Barony forest wardens grow fearful as the massive warhost gathers in the scarred barony of Verlorenherz. It has been years since the Zekartaal have gathered in such concentrated forces, and Sister Oak is supposedly clad in Thunder Oak armour as much a part of her as it is the Greenweald. Where she leads her horde will know the wrath of root and vine. As she casts her gaze westward, it appears that the deserts of the Tribelands will know war.
