Part of Winds of the World - Summer 221
In the new lands of Bolsterlee a most unusual defence was mounted against the vengeful forces of the Barracuda. Thousands of marines and sailors of the 1st Concordian Fleet land upon the rocky beaches of the newly reclaimed region and charge the advancing Illsevir host. Ships anchored just off the coast rained fire and stone down upon the enemy. The core of the fleet was clustered around a captured Illsevir warbarge, flying the banner of a Red ship against a sea of orange flame, the personal ship of Admiral Omira Al-Jadis.
The fleet would defeat the Illsevir at the landing at Bolsterlee, and engage in sporadic actions all along the coast of Bolsterlee throughout the spring. If Bolsterlee was more inhabited there might have been greater fears or inland raiding, but the Illsevir found little to break asunder. Eventually, as the Illsevir pulled back again, a final battle erupted on the Woodswater River as the ships of the fleet with the lower draft attempted to block the enemy from retreating back into Baile Fealtiori.
Another gruesome conflict followed as the Concordian forces gave it their all. As the last Illsevir sank to the bottom of the river or marched back into the neighbouring region, the fleet cried victory from the decks!
But the Barracuda tasted blood. It is a hunter and it knows that for every one that fell, a Concordian sailor, or sometimes two, went to their final rest.It is a trade that the Concordian fleet cannot continue to make. There is blood in the water now.
Game Information
The coastal landings in Bolsterlee by the First Concordian Fleet were a costly affair, costing the fleet more than a thousand sailors, marines and sometimes whole ships, while the Illsevir lost less than eight hundred. But from a strategic perspective, it was a victory. Some of the privateers who joined with The Concord to fight the Barracuda have suffered significant losses.
These Naval investments will act as if they were one tier lower (or half production if they are tier 1) in the following season unless they spend Locks equal to double their tier to rearm:

Anyone who wishes to roleplay having been present during the campaign is free to create their own stories of combat against the silent Illsevir, heroic beach landings from small craft or the chaos of the Woodswater Water blockade as Illsevir marched into the water and climbed onto the smaller ships.
