A Journeyman Artisan Craft

Description

Janissaries in Andash are well versed in an appreciation of coin. They know when it is heavy enough that it is worth it to take that extra risk, or to take on just one more job. They also know when it is worth it to cut your losses, or when a shortcut is acceptable instead. Its just got to be worth the cost.

Studying for years at the School of Gifts for some is a simple example of bad mathematics - why spend years with your nose buried in books and scrolls, years of training to move matter with your mind, when you can pay an artisan a handful of keys for a staff that does basically the same thing? Sure the crystal mana doesn't taste that great if you are not magically gifted, but for many, that is a cost worth paying.
