At Concord, at various times, you may find yourself NPCing, playing the antagonists in larger fights. This is your guide on how to do so with the most ease.
As a reminder: If you PC in one Strategic Conflux, you must NPC in the other. You can choose to NPC for both if you wish.

NPC'ing a Strategic Conflux
Day 2 and 3 of Summit, a Strategic Conflux happens at 10AM, pitting half the Heroic Forces of the Concord against the enemies of the Concord (played by the NPC team, and the other half of players).
On Night 1 of Summit at 5PM, the War Chamber meets for the first time, and chooses the battles for the upcoming days and which Realms will be participating on each of those days. The Concord team will do their best to share this information once available, as should the War Chamber. If you are unsure which days you fight, please seek out your Champion or the Commandant of the War Chamber.
Preparation for the Strategic Conflux starts officially at 9AM, but as game in is at 9AM, likely NPCs, Marshalls and Story Team will start earlier. Briefing on the Conflux itself usually begins 30 minutes before start at 9:30, so arriving earlier for makeup and costuming is important.
Each enemy of the Concord has a default set of stats, the Rank and File, found here: Rank and File - NPC Stats. These will rarely change. If you know which force you will be playing as, feel free to pick one of the options and show up with your equipment and armour ready.
Please note that while we do have a store of spare equipment and armour, it is limited and the NPC team has priority usage on it so do your best to equip yourself for the fight. Unique identifiers for all of the enemies should be available for everyone to use.
Any personal gear that you don’t intend to use on the Conflux should be left at your camp or tent - we will attempt to have a space to deposit it at GOD but cannot guarantee one.
Sergeants
As battles grow larger, we require more squad size leaders. There are roles available for this - they come with different stats but also require you to lead on the field. If you’re interested please ask, but don’t be offended if we refuse. We have limited spots for these.
Lieutenants
Full leader and specialised roles for the entire Conflux will be reserved for the NPC team themselves, except in special circumstances. This includes any monster costumes. Our apologies, but the costumes are often designed to fit individuals.
NPC'ing a Skirmish
From time to time, we may need additional NPC antagonists for Skirmishes - the need for this will fluctuate as the size of our NPC team and the size of skirmishes themselves vary as the game grows. These are an easy way to get in some extra fighting without risk to your character.
Before game in at each Summit, Skirmish recruitment posters in a clear OOC font will be placed in a central location in each Realm’s camp, and in other locations as able. They will state the time to arrive at GOD, and any equipment you should bring. Be aware we act on a first-come basis, but please don’t arrive too early - we may be out on another Conflux or setting up the field.
Due to the smaller numbers of PCs involved, the briefing may be more in depth than a Strategic Conflux, however Rank and File enemies are still likely the majority of enemies.
When NPCing for a Skirmish, a player NPC gets a small payment for service - a few keys for giving up part of your game to assist us. If you need to justify it and your absence, feel free to say you were doing some tasks for the Civil Service.
Joining the NPC team
Some NPCs are NPCs for the whole game! If this interests you, please contact our NPC Leads, Aaron Apollos and El Horley. Our availability of spots varies greatly game to game, and is by invite only, so not all applications will be accepted.
