A Journeyman Artisan Craft
Description
Death Icons are believed to come from a line of Bordevarian Knightly Orders who commissioned them in some of the first major battles against the Onyx Aristocracy. Crafted by candlelight with quiet prayer given to Lumos, these banners were made to be a sign of hope in times when it was difficult to see any at all.
Given to pathfinders who risked everything to find a way behind enemy lines, to grizzled battlemages with nothing left to lose except each other, and to knights whose squires were almost ready to bend the knee one last time. Better to bring some people home for a proper burial than leave their mortal forms in the hands of the enemy.
