Performing the Ceremony
Performing this Ceremony takes at least 10 minutes of roleplaying. This Ceremony targets a character who must be present throughout, but need not be one of the priests performing the Ceremony. They become the Prophet as described in the rules about Curses.
This Ceremony is a Curse, and therefore interacts with anything that would remove or affect Curses.
Effects
The target no longer regains energy, mana, or hitpoints passively. At the start of the day they are reduced to 1 Hitpoints, and if they have mana and/or energy, they are reduced to 1. The curse lasts four events.
As long as they are Cursed, they experience a roleplaying effect: You suffer powerful nightmares of being pursued by powerful and inescapable foes composed of the darkness between the stars. Whenever you are alone, you can feel the sky behind you creeping towards your back with malicious hunger.
The roleplaying and mechanical effect lasts for four events, including the one where it was cast.
