A Journeyman Artisan Item
Description
A strange item, Clerics Mace (also known as a ‘Soldiers Burden’ or ‘Followers Friend’) has little to do with priests or religion. Rather it is commonly used to grant the magical ability to heal to warriors who might not ordinarily have it. A Clerics Mace and a small parcel of crystal mana can make a group of fighters far more durable, or at least more likely to come home safe.
Because of this, Clerics' Maces rarely appear as items of much note. Generally, they are well-crafted ironshod maces sometimes inscribe with crude messages of hope such as ‘Come home safe’, ‘Worth living for’ and ‘Stand Fast'.
