Description
Creating distance between yourself and your foe is a cornerstone of many combat techniques, and this is especially recognised within the Vestment of Force. Battlemages who have trained themselves to know the Knockback Spell find it easier to harness that magic when wearing such Vestments, allowing them to utilize its forceful nature as they see fit. Usually crafted in the form of leather armour, Vestments of Force are often called “Buck Stops” by Battlemages who deal firmly with larger beasts of burden, though this name could also be applied to the effect it grants.
The Vestment of Force is an item that lends itself to a great many circumstances, and Artisans are often found creating them with this in mind. Some variants of this item have been found to be lighter, others with quick release buckles. This great variety in craftsmanship, while seen in all items, seems to be all the more present in these Vestments.

- Effect: Twice per day you may cast the Knockback spell for no mana. You must already know the Knockback spell to do this.
- Materials: Crafting a Battlemages Vestment of Force requires 2 measures of Shimmering Scales, 2 measures of Forgesteel and 2 measures of Essencite
