An Expert Artisan Craft
Description
There are many interpretations as to what it is to ‘Control’ a thing. The Vestment of Control lends answer to one of these interpretations, allowing a knowledgeable Battlemage to skilfully control the battlefield through the use of the Silence spell, while still cladding themselves in protective layers of leathers or chain. Usually stylised with dark colors and symbols of negation such as chains and crosses, though every Artisan and Battlemage have their own individual interpretation of ‘Control’ and what image it takes.
A notable set of the Vestment of Control was worn by an unknown Bordevarian Battlemage who fell at the Battle of Tristan’s Field. The Vestment took the form of a long continuous set of blackened chains, wrapped tightly around their arms and torso before being accented by five small sections of bright gold cloth. Unfortunately, this Battlemage was to fall at the battle so it is unknown if there was a prior name for this piece, but it has since been called “The Vestment that Shines in the Dark”
