Spheric Beings of Arcadian

From Esterrapedia

Eternals of Arcadian

The Warheart

Representing the courage of the heart, The Warheart and its subordinate Heralds embody the willingness to face true tests, the knowledge of self worth through the struggles of a trial, and the varied aspects of the crucible of war. Revealing itself in the desperate beating of a heart in action, and the strangled and sorrowful cries of a worthy defeat, The Warheart lives within all of us.

The Ardent Mind

Representing the brilliance of the mind, The Ardent Mind and its subordinate Heralds embody the personal will and strength it takes to acknowledge your faults and learn from others. In aspect, it teaches us to constantly be living as learners, and to reflect and assess yourself openly and honestly in order to best understand ourselves. Revealing itself in the scent of meditative candles and the weariness of tired muscles, the Ardent Mind calls us all to teach and be taught in turn.

The Thunderbolt

Representing the power of decisiveness, The Thunderbolt and its subordinate Heralds embody the power and strength of definitive action, the weakness of fear, and the impact of never second guessing oneself. Revealing itself in the searing glare and thunderous boom of lightning, and the devastations of fire and heat, the Thunderbolt is the Sphere of Steel at its most primordial and inhuman.

Heralds of Arcadian

The Gauntlet

Subordinate Herald of The Warheart, The Gauntlet is the embodiment of War in all its many forms, and is an incredibly powerful Herald because of it. The rush of blood in human ears, the heady rush and roar of battle, the fury of a soul lost to the rage of war, the courage of a soldier in their final breaths of life - all these things and more are melded together as aspects of The Gauntlet.

The Ruby Duellist

Subordinate Herald of The Warheart, The Ruby Duellist is the embodiment of the rules and honor of conflicts. The respect of pageantry and tradition in war, the formalities and rules of competitions and games, and the honor of conforming to the rules of a fair fight all fall within his purview. The Ruby Duellist is, of course, also the patron of all duels in many parts of the world.

The Bloody Handed

Subordinate Herald of The Warheart, The Bloody Handed is the embodiment of everything The Ruby Duellist is not, championing the idea that success is success, no matter how you get there. She teaches us to rise above others in conflict by whatever means necessary, and to never stop the fight until you can be sure you will never be defeated by the foe you face.

The Silent Savant

Subordinate Herald of The Ardent Mind, The Silent Savant shows us that knowledge and ability are, in themselves, a form of strength. What understanding and skills you have are the fruits of your hard work and labors, and should be given away only to causes that are worthy. However, these must not be professed to be greater than they are, lest you be exposed as a fraud.

The Spheric Zealot

Subordinate Herald of The Ardent Mind, The Spheric Zealot teaches us that Faith itself is Strength, Devotion itself is Strength, and Discipline itself is Strength. To hold strong to your convictions and to not let the words of others shape your foundations allows a great fortress of self to be built in the mind - to do otherwise invites disaster.

The Lifter of Towns

Subordinate Herald of The Ardent Mind, The Lifter of Towns shows us that Physical Strength is itself, of course, Strength. Strive ever for the best physical form you can sustain, for your body is precious - you need not strive to be stronger than everyone, you should simply be as strong as you can be, and help others to be the same.

The Striking Serpent

Subordinate Herald of The Thunderbolt, The Striking Serpent embodies unwavering decisions. Once the course is set, it is taught, you should not even consider wavering from it, but should act as swiftly, brutally, and decisively as you need to in order to achieve your goals. Never second guess yourself, your first option you arrive at is often the best.

The Timid Husk

Subordinate Herald of The Thunderbolt, The Timid Husk embodies guilt and self-doubt in abundance. A teacher only in what it shows us to avoid, we are taught that these things are the seeds of wasted potential, and to second guess others only invites questioning of one’s own potential. A warning for those who criticize others without acting themselves.

The Striking Palm

Subordinate Herald of The Thunderbolt, The Striking Palm is the embodiment of righteous vengeance, teaching that you should never let a slight go unpunished or unresolved, and to never let a blow be taken without giving one in return. To allow oneself to be stepped upon without tripping your oppressors only allows others to further grind you into the road for others to pass over.
