Magli’s Gift

Magli's Gift is an arcstone quarry in Mukarrem.

In the scrubby foothills of Mitricasa Rise a clear and fast flowing river flows between shining stones. Cool and clean, this river has slowly exposed a vast and rippling arcstone deposit beneath the hilly soil, resulting in a long shallow canyon that shines white in the midday sun. A common camping site for the nomads who have been known to spend the hottest months sheltered by the hills woody eaves and making use of the glassy waters.

Obscured from Concordian grasp during the Al’Mai Crisis of 223-224, when the nomadic sepratists of the Al’Mai returned to the Concord after prolonged diplomacy, they brought the arcstone with them. A quarry had been arranged during the isolation in such a way that the water was redirected, exposing the arcstone but preserving the vital water source for the nomads of Mukarrem. Called ‘Magli’s Gift’ after the leader of the Al’Mai, the Gift entered Concordian ownership in Summer 224 and was first auctioned shortly after.

Deed to Magli’s Gift

Magli’s Gift remains a Concordian Deed, available at public auction from the Exchange at the Autumn Summit each year. The Gift tends to produce 15 wains of Arcstone each season.
