Performing the Ceremony
Performing this Ceremony takes at least 2 minutes of roleplaying. This Ceremony targets a character who must be present throughout, but need not be one of the priests performing the Ceremony.
This Ceremony is an Enchantment. A target may only be under one Enchantment effect at a time.
Effects
The target character takes the Damage effect as the Knockback effect. Each time they are affected by knockback in this way, they gain 1 energy, which may temporarily take them above their energy limit. Any energy gained through this method that would take them over their energy maximum is lost after thirty minutes or the next time they travel through the Waystone, whichever occurs first. You may never have more than 1 temporary energy over your maximum from any source.
As long as they are enchanted the target experiences a roleplaying effect: You downplay anything bad that happens to you and others, with a ceaselessly optimistic viewpoint, no matter the situation.
The roleplaying and mechanical effect lasts until the end of the event.
