Part of Winds of the World - Summer 222
The northern lands of Resinderholz have become a battleground.
Zekartaal shamans, raiders and slayers prowl the treeline, sweeping through outlying villages. The smaller hamlets stand no chance against the vicious predators of the coming tide. Many flee southwards to safety, others hold their ground and die for the choice. Many more are captured and are destined to become the living meals for Brother Ash’s menagerie of monstrous beasts of war only the chaotic success of ‘Feed the Beast’ at the previous Summit contained the Zekartaal advance, disrupting both Brother Ash’s preparations and enlisting the Greenweald itself as an unpredictable ally.
With the Legion of the Blackheart Bear on the far side of the Eisen River, the people of Resinderholz rally, preparing for a long summer fighting through the monster-infested Ravensreach Wilds that make up much of Resinderholz's northern reaches. It would be a terrain that favours the Zekartaal and will bolster their numbers, but at least the terrain is sparsely populated, saving the Greenweald people from much of the predations of war.
But Ash is no fool, and it is little time before the first of Eisen’s outer cottages is a burnt shell.
The Circle of The Broken Moon draws its attention to Resinderholz’s northern settlement, eager to put the military capital of Resinderholz to the torch. Skirmishes quickly escalate to roving battles in the outskirts as small militias and apprentice Ritters defend the people fleeing inside Eisen’s simple walls.
The third siege of Eisen has begun.
Game Information
Brother Ash has moved a large army of warriors, shamans and warbeasts into Resinderholz, striking particularly at the township of Eisen, home to the Greenweald's College of War and much of its military smiths and experts.
There will be an opportunity to lead a conflux against Brother Ash this season during the Battle of Eisen.
