There are currently many different spheric beings that are known to the Concordian Church of the Divine Spheres
In truly auspicious times, beings have been known to descend from the spheres and journey for a while upon the mortal plane. These are creatures of great power and grace, invested with the power of their home sphere. They are known as Heralds and Eternals.
Heralds
The lesser of the two. Generally bound in service to an Eternal, Heralds are beings with names, hopes and failings, far closer to mortals than the Eternals are. They serve their sphere and eternal masters, embodying some aspect of their creed. Generally recognisable as exaggerated forms of their spheres Grace, Heralds act as messengers, champions and agents of their eternal or sphere.
Eternals
Distant, alien beings, closer to gods than creatures of blood and soul. There appear to be three eternals beholden to each sphere, each embodying a particular aspect of that sphere. They are above the concepts of squabble, hope or fear, being closer to divine expressions of their sphere. They may not always been recognisable in their form, having very rarely ever been witnessed.
