An Anarch Ceremony - Magnitude 4 - The Phoenix
Performing the Ceremony
Performing this Ceremony takes at least 2 minutes of roleplaying. This Ceremony targets a character who must be present throughout, but need not be one of the priests performing the Ceremony.
Effects
Target character changes their Investment to a new form of investment at Tier 1, and may move it to a different region if they wish. That character can never possess that kind of investment again - if they should ever come into ownership of one through any means, it runs itself to financial ruin within a few months.
Any Curses, Enchantments, or effects that are currently affecting the existing Investment are carried over to the new one, though if the new Investment is not a valid target for an existing Curse or Enchantment, they simply do nothing.
Until the end of the event, the target experiences a roleplaying effect: You find it difficult to remember with clarity anything but the most extreme and defining events of your past
After this roleplaying effect has faded, it is replaced by the following roleplay effect: While you can remember the shape of your previous investments, the specifics elude you. Trying to remember it fills your through with the taste of hot smoke.
