Performing the Ceremony
Performing this Ceremony takes at least 10 minutes of roleplaying. This Ceremony targets a character who must be present throughout but need not be one of the priests performing the Ceremony.
The target character cannot have the Terminal condition, nor can they have any Wound which might (if imminently left unresolved) cause the character to receive the Terminal condition before or at the start of the next Summit. If you are in doubt about the eligibility of a target for this Ceremony, please see an ST.
This Ceremony is an Enchantment. Being the target of this Ceremony removes all other Curses and Enchantments from the target, and makes them ineligible to be the target for any further Enchantments or Curses.
Effects
The target character who has gained at least 3 experience is considered an army with a strength equal to 500 x the number of unique combat skills they have for the purposes of campaign actions. Skills with individual ranks are counted as one purchase.
For example: a character with Additional Energy 1, Additional Energy 2, Archer, and Weaponmaster would have 1500 Strength (3 skills x 500).
The target character is immune to the Terminal condition. If they would receive that condition for any reason, they instead experience the effects of Recall and are stabilized on 1HP
The target character gains a vote in the War Chamber and may act accordingly. The character will become terminal at the start of the next Summit
All Heralds of Arcadian are aware this Ceremony has been cast, and will take note of the character should they happen to cross paths. The Church has historically acknowledged the prominence and power of this Ceremony as a Miracle of the Spheres for the martyr who accepts it.
As long as they are enchanted the target experiences a roleplaying effect: Containing this much of Arcadian’s power is a heady, addictive, and crushing feeling. You are driven to discard all other Spheres and focus entirely on furthering yourself and your legacy before the power burns you out like a bonfire. You will leave absolutely no slight unanswered, no insinuation unchecked, no fight unfinished.
