Political Traditions

The Tithing Vote

All of the Andashi government relies upon the tithes to act as both social cohesion and funding, the election of Senators is no different. The election is a standard popular vote with each candidate being announced and traditionally an empty bowl or pot placed in front of them. The ST Team or member of the Civil Service would oversee a supply of voting tokens, these tokens can be purchased by an Andashi citizen for the current cost of two keys. Citizens may purchase as many tokens as they wish. The candidate with the most votes becomes the Senator, with the coin used to purchase votes being added to the Andashi treasury.

Military Traditions

Janissary Captains

The strong history of mercenary loyalty, professionalism and honour in Andash affects the methods in which their military leaders are elected. Military leaders are expected to not only be brave combatants and leaders, but also shrewd negotiators and mindful tacticians. As such, the vote for any military leadership position is a popular vote where the only individuals who are allowed to vote are those who own a Business Investment or command a Military Investment. Each title is a separate vote, with those eligible being able to vote every time. Any individual may nominate or be nominated for a military leadership role.

Economic Traditions

Power and Responsibility

With such a great endeavour underway to reclaim the lost empire of Andash, the control of important resources is an important decision that must be made with the whole Realm in mind. Those with the lofty perspective to make such decisions are the ones granted the power to make them. The election of an Andashi Economic Title is a popular vote where the only individuals granted a vote are Andashi citizens who currently hold a Concordian Title.
